As the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Vocational Education & Pathways at Victoria University, Grant leads the delivery of VU’s Vocational programs, overseeing the delivery of all VET programs, as well as commercial operations and learning, quality and support functions.
Grant commenced at Victoria University in 2010 as the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Workforce Development. Grant has extensive experience in the Victorian TAFE System as a Senior Manager, Manager and teacher. Prior to his appointment at VU, Grant was the General Manager of Education and Training at Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE, where he provided strategic leadership for all education and training programs, international operations, marketing, business development, teaching and learning functions.
Grant has held several senior leadership positions at Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE including Manager - Hospitality & Educational Pathways and Centre Manager - Service Industries. He was the staff representative on the Goulburn Ovens TAFE Board of Directors for four years.
Grant's comprehensive professional history and extensive knowledge of Vocational Education and Training as a teacher, coordinator, manager and TAFE Institute councillor, informs his commitment to the delivery of premium industry-informed vocational training and assessment services for individuals and organisations. Under Grant’s leadership, Victoria University Polytechnic will address current and future workforce needs, locally, nationally and internationally.
