Since 2022, VU has planted 17,500 trees at Werribee Campus as part of the Victorian Government’s More Trees for a Cooler, Greener West program, helping reduce heat, improve air quality and support community wellbeing.
Everyone’s welcome, students, staff and the local community.

This initiative is funded and supported by the Victorian Government’s More Trees for a Cooler, Greener West program which aims to plant 500,000 trees to increase tree canopy coverage in Melbourne's western suburbs.
