Victoria University has consolidated its research activity. From 2018 research of the Centre for Environmental Safety and Risk Engineering (CESARE) is located within the Institute of Sustainable & Liveable Cities.
Our courses are developed in association with the Building Commission, Victoria and tailored to meet the needs of industry.
You will collaborate and network with students from various academic and work related backgrounds including building surveying, chemistry, fire fighting, physics and various engineering and science disciplines.
Our coursework programs are linked so that the Graduate Certificate is the first year of the Graduate Diploma, and you may graduate with both qualifications.
By completing a minor project after the Graduate Diploma, and undertaking appropriate industrial experience, you may graduate with a coursework Masters degree.
If you want to carry out a more significant research project, you can enrol in a Research Masters in Engineering or PhD.
International students are not accepted into Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses unless they are already in residence in Australia on another visa. However, you can enrol into a Masters in Engineering (either coursework or research) or PhD.
