Victoria University is hosting the conference at the Melbourne Park Function Centre. The centre is in the heart of Melbourne, set near the beautiful Yarra River and Botanic Gardens.

The venue can be reached from the city by walking paths, and there are tram and train stops nearby.

Transport

Getting to the venue

The Melbourne Park Function Centre is an easy walk from the CBD.

Parking is limited, so we recommend public transport. Trams, trains and buses can all drop you nearby.

The venue lists public transport options, with train, tram, and bus lines, as well as information on taxis.

Getting around Melbourne

Melbourne is well serviced by trains, trams and buses. All use a common card system for ticketing, called 'Myki'.

Myki cards can be bought and topped up with money at train stations and convenience stores where you see the Myki logo. They are 'tapped' at Myki points on buses and trams, or when approaching your train platform, to pay your fare for the trip.

Airport transport

If you're not hiring a car, there are two options for transport between Melbourne Airport and the CBD:

  • taxis (around $50) 
  • Skybus.
