Come and view our display of VU Library Special Collections on 29 June, ahead of Rare Book Week.

Victoria University Library is inviting VU students, staff and the public to view some of the rare materials from its Special Collections.

Get a head start on the 2017 Melbourne Rare Book Week (30 June – 9 July 2017) and discover the fascinating VU Library Special Collections, composed of donated materials that support VU's key research areas.

Footscray Park Library is hosting the open day, with three curated displays.

Accessing Special Collections

The Special Collection is a research collection and the items cannot be borrowed but may be used in the Footscray Park Library. Make an appointment to use the Special Collection by emailing [email protected].

Access to the Foley Collection is via the Victoria University Research Repository. For more information about the Foley collection and options for re-using collection material in derivative works, please contact [email protected].
