Jon Evans from the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services will deliver the first College of Health & Biomedicine Dean's Lecture for 2016.

The lecture is titled 'Health Innovation Opportunities.'

After the lecture, we invite you to join us for lunch in the area opposite the lecture theatre.

About the speaker

Jon Evans has held senior clinical, management, consulting and strategy leadership positions across National and International Health Care systems and related industry for over 20 years in operational and strategic settings across the public and private sector.

With a background in psychology, he has operational experience from direct clinical practice through to the role of a Chief Executive of a large Metropolitan Health Service and a number of senior government appointments. Jon has recently held positions as Director of Strategy and Innovation and Improvement within the Department of Health and Human Services, Victoria where he had primary responsibility for driving transformational change and continuous improvement of the health care system to meet the requirements of the current and future population of Victoria.
