Professor Bearman’s keynote titled Tertiary education for a world with artificial intelligence will be held in person at Footscray Park and live streamed on Tuesday 26 September.

This keynote explores how teaching and learning in tertiary education may need to adapt to an increasingly technology dependent world. In a time when generative AI has hit the headlines, we may need to shift our emphasis towards orienting students to quality through meaningful interactions. A range of strategies will be proposed that will help students learn to work in an increasingly complex digitally-mediated world.
