Parent information program
Going from secondary school to tertiary study is a big step. At Victoria University we recognise this and provide support for all students new to VU. You can help your child through this time by encouraging them to attend orientation sessions as well as social and sporting events. These provide opportunities for learning about university life, meeting other students and making new friends.
If you have a family member starting at Victoria University in 2012, come along to our information session where you will hear about:
- How you can help your student adjust to university life
- The difference between learning at secondary school and university
- What support is available to students studying at Victoria University
- Important administrative procedures and processes for newly enrolled students
- Answers to your questions about housing, fees, scholarships or anything else you would like to ask us about
