Open Day launches early
2011 has been and gone. If you're looking for information on the 2012 Open Day, we've got it here.
Victoria University (VU) will be the first university in Melbourne to throw open its doors this year, unveiling its world-class Footscray Park sport and learning precinct as a backdrop to an Open Day jam-packed with activities and information.
VU’s Open Day 2011 will be held from 10am until 3pm on Sunday 26 June, several weeks earlier than other Melbourne universities. It will include information sessions about the hundreds of TAFE, undergraduate and postgraduate courses VU offers, as well as demonstrations, tours, and opportunities to speak with course advisers, careers counsellors and current students.
When you are done with the serious side of Open Day, you can watch exciting science shows or cheerleading routines, have a massage, or chill out to the tunes of VU music students. There will also be BBQs, balloon art, face-painting and roving entertainers.

The ‘Get Set to Study Competition’ packs include a Mac laptop and printer; $1000 worth of stationery and books; a $1000 bicycle and safety equipment; public transport tickets; clothing; and $750 in cash.
