Drop-in sessions: Explore Compendex database

Engineering staff can explore Compendex database with the help of librarian Dana Kuljanin to find material to support their teaching and research. Engineering research students are also welcome to seek help with finding resources for their literature reviews.

Compendex database, available through the Library databases page, covers all engineering disciplines and includes:

  • over 8 million records 
  • references from over 5,000 international engineering sources including journal, conference, and trade publications
  • coverage from 1969 to present 
  • weekly updates to database 

The following drop-in sessions will give a general overview of Compendex and will offer tips for effective searching.  Bookings are not required. Just drop in.

  • Monday 16 February, 10.30am – 11am
  • Thursday 19 February, 10.30am-11am
  • Tuesday 24 February, 12.30pm-1pm

All drop-in sessions are held at Footscray Park Campus, Building D, Room D441
