Information sessions are running for any students interested in volunteering or participating in the Big West Festival.
Big West really wants to support your career directions and is hoping there’s something for everyone. So if your passion is in event management, community services, education, performance, music and sound, digital technology, marketing, administration, engineering – you name it! – Big West Festival wants to know!
Big West Festival 2015
Responding to the theme, ‘the inner and outer world of the house’, a record breaking 95 submissions were lodged from Westie artists and diverse communities to bring dynamic art and thriving culture to Footscray's homes, shops, rooftops, streets, nooks and parks in November 2015!
HOUSE , a purpose-built Festival hub will be the central site for punchy artworks, forums and workshops throughout the Festival week, while all over Nicholson St there will be visual art installations, dance, theatre, street art, outdoor projections and films involving our deliciously diverse arts community. There will also be an amazing outreach community program called Mobile Art Spaces in Truganina starting in July this year.
