The English Language Institute is located in the heart of Melbourne and is part of Victoria University. At ELI you can improve your general English, prepare for study at an Australian TAFE or university or take part in a customised group study tour.

If you study an ELI course you will be enrolled as a student of Victoria University. This means you have access to great facilities, excellent teachers and a wide range of resources and services.
Services

- English language testing for international students both on and off shore

- a language and computer laboratory where you can access emails, the Internet and multimedia learning materials
- a Self-Access centre where you can relax, read the newspapers and talk with your fellow students
