Applying through VTAC

If you were born in Australia, or are have changed your Australian visa to a permanent resident status, then you can apply for a Victoria University degree course as part of your Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) preferences.

International students may also need to apply for a degree course through VTAC if they are currently studying:

  • the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) program in Victoria.

Eligible applicants must submit their documentation to VTAC by early January. International students that have changed their visa status after January need to make an enquiry with Victoria University International. For more information regarding this application process visit VTAC.

Please note that all international students applying for TAFE courses can apply directly to Victoria University. Find out how to apply online.
