PhD program
We welcome applications from prospective research students wanting to undertake a PhD degree in supply chain and logistics.
Postgraduate study
Our postgraduate programs offer various options for study with a flexible learning approach, and built partnerships with business and local communities.
VU also has an Office for Postgraduate Research which provides research training to support research students and supervisors.
Degrees
Graduates will be able to pursue careers in Supply Chain Logistics and Managements (LSCM) in any industry. These courses equip you to deal with the challenges of national and international supply chain management, regulations relevant to local and global logistics transport - one of the largest industries in Australia.
Diplomas
Our diploma programs provide skills and knowledge to advance your career in such fields as purchasing, materials management, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, transport and customer service.
Certificates
We deliver specialist courses to individuals, private companies and government organisations through the School of Industry Skills Training, offers Certificates in Transport and Logistics (in the areas of road, rail and warehousing).
Licenses
VU offers a variety of transport and logistics licenses to the general public, as well as to business and industry through Industry Skills Training (IST).
IST's $20million purpose-built Industry Skills Training complex at our Werribee campus includes large indoor and outdoor training areas and modern classrooms. We have over 80 items of plant including trucks, cars, forklifts, cranes and earthmoving equipment. A 1.2km road circuit and large manoeuvring areas are used in driver training programs.
