Portfolio Partnership Program

At Victoria University (VU) we believe Year 12 students should have the opportunity to get into VU based on more than just their ATAR.

The Portfolio Partnership Program (PPP) is an alternative entry program for Year 12 students who attend one of our partnership schools. PPP is about VU assessing your application based on your goals, achievements and community involvement, not just your ATAR.

Get into the course you want with PPP

You can apply for any of our higher education (degree) and vocational education (TAFE) programs at VU.

Find your dream course.

Information sessions

Information about 2012 sessions will be available soon.

Who can apply?

Your school can recommend up to 20 per cent of Year 12 students to apply through the PPP.

If you have a strong preference and commitment to one of our courses at VU let your Career Adviser know so they can help arrange your PPP application.

How to apply

You must submit your PPP application via your school. It is very important that the course you apply for through PPP is on your list of preferences submitted to VTAC. Once submitted, you are not able to change your preference - and only one application is permitted per person.

Things to remember

You must include the completed application form in your portfolio folder (supplied with the application kit) and fill in your details on the back of the plastic folder.

While acceptance is based on your portfolio, students still need to gain a minimum ATAR of 50 to get into our higher education courses - you will also need to meet any course prerequisites. A minimum ATAR is not required for our TAFE courses.

Closing date

Portfolios submissions have closed for 2011.

Information about 2012 submission dates will be available soon.
