Sudeep Chhabra credits his success at Hotel Sofitel to his postgraduate study in hospitality.

"I studied in India and worked at the Taj and Oberoi Hotels in New Delhi. I worked there for two years but I realised I was stagnating.

I compared the fee and course structures between the US, the UK and Australia, and the cost of living. I also compared universities here in Australia, and VU came out on top.

I graduated with two postgraduate degrees at the age of 26. VU is the backbone of my role as Assistant Restaurant Manager at the No. 35 restaurant at Hotel Sofitel.

The best thing about VU were the teachers, and the course structure was fantastic. VU broadens your horizons, gets you more confident.

I didn’t know anything about Australia before I came here. All I knew was that they had a fantastic cricket team, but it wasn’t hard for me to study at VU."
