LiWC at Quest Serviced Apartments

Learning in the Workplace and Community was the most beneficial part of my course. It opened doors for me and ignited my passion for the hotel industry. For my LiWC I worked for a year with Quest Serviced Apartments.

Working with Quest was definitely an eye-opener – it showed me what careers my degree made possible. After working in the industry I realised where I wanted my career to go and that motivated me to excel in my studies. 

I started my manager traineeship with Crown in January 2009. Crown has just opened a third hotel, the Crown Metropol and I was lucky enough to be part of the pre-opening team. It’s been an amazing experience and it's something that will be on my resume forever.

The future for me is definitely hotels. I’d love to be the general manager of a major hotel one day, but for now I’d just like to work in all the different divisions and departments to gain as much experience as possible.
