Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia)

In just a few short years, I’ve gone from university student to successful business owner and I couldn’t be happier.

VU’s Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia) provided the perfect platform for recognising my strengths in digital production, thanks to the encouragement of my teachers and the work placement opportunities built into the course.

Recognising my ability, VU gave me the opportunity to work on a promotional DVD. That one job allowed me to purchase my own equipment and begin freelance work for clients including Rio Tinto, the Department of Education and the Australian Sports Commission.

I recently opened the doors to my own business: “Innovating Visuals”.  I love the variety of my work - from filming and editing through to business development and marketing - no two days are ever the same.

In the future, I’d love to grow my company to the point where we win a major contract producing feature films.

That would be the icing on the cake.
