IT support for staff
VU's Information Technology Services (ITS) department provides a wide range of services for staff including:
- computers and software (acquisitions, software & licensing, iPads and iPhones)
- communication services (desktop phone setup, emails, mobile phones, mailing lists, Office Communicator)
- teaching and learning support (Blackboard, WebCT, ReVU, off-air recording and open access labs)
- networks and internet (wireless networks, VPN, shared drives, printing and fax services).

Log an ITS Service Request
The ITS Service Request systems allows general users (staff and students) to login and create their own ITS requests without the need to contact the Service Desk. This is also the same system the ITS support staff use to receive all allocated requests.

You can contact the ITS Service Desk via phone on +61 3 9919 2777 (option 3) for all ITS related problems, or queries from anywhere within the University.
During semester
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 8pm
Friday: 8am - 5pm
Semester break
Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5pm
If you call outside our operating hours you will be connected to our voicemail system. Please ensure that you leave your name, phone number, staff or student ID, department, location and a detailed description of the problem or request.
