The City Convention Centre is located on Flinders Street in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, close to transport, cafes, restaurants and accommodation. With spectacular city and river views, it is a perfect venue for business and social functions.
We cater for conferences, seminars, trade shows, industry presentations, shareholder meetings, dinners, cocktail parties, weddings, engagements and family celebrations.

Venue facilities
Fantastic views over the Yarra
The flexibility of our convention centre allows us to cater for all types of functions. With two breakout rooms and five interconnecting function rooms, we can place your function in one or more rooms to cater for your numbers. Facilities for hire include:
- five interconnecting function rooms with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities. All rooms have panoramic city views.
- foyer, bar and balcony
- mobile staging and dance floor
- business centre facilities including photocopying, facsimile, word processing and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the venue
Capacity
The foyer can comfortably cater for 90 people and the balcony for 80 people.

Catering
The City Convention Centre can fulfil all of your catering needs. You can choose from our Full Service Conference Packages or our chefs can tailor a menu to suit your specific requirements. From a light morning tea to a five course sit down dinner for 300, let us design a menu to compliment your event and make it an outstanding success.
Catering packages
The Convention Centre is a fully catered and licensed venue. Our on-site chef can provide for all of your culinary needs. From the smallest meeting to the largest banquet, we can advise and assist you with all of your catering requirements. Whether it be finger food or a sit down, silver service banquet, our menus can be specifically designed to suit your needs and priced to meet any budget.
We also have a wide selection of quality wines and beverages to compliment the menu.
