Study overseas for a few short weeks and gain credit towards your degree. Our short term overseas study programs give you the opportunity to travel with international students and learn at universities and colleges all over the world.

Mexico, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey
Study areas: Spanish language courses, Volunteer Project or Mexican Culture.
Estimated costs: USD $1690 covering tuition, accommodation, airport pick up and drop off, transportation for field trips and volunteering, health insurance.
Study times: 1 July 2012 - 28 July 2012

Asia
Turkey, Bogazici University
Study Areas: Undergraduate students in most disciplines.
Cost: Applicants who apply before 14 May, 2012 pay a USD $100 application fee plus USD $275 per credit. Applicants who apply after 14 May, 2012 pay a USD $200 application fee plus USD $300 per credit.
Study times: June 22 - August 8, 2012

Europe
France, IESEG School of Management
Study Areas: Undergraduate and postgraduate business, international studies, management and language students.
Cost: €2,995 to cover the course, language course, hospitality and admin fee.
Study times: 1 July - 30 July, 2012

Spain, Tourism and Hospitality Education/Research
Study Areas: Their summer school program offers courses in Events Management.
Costs: There are two options. With accommodation it will cost €2,520 including:
- Lectures (a total of 48 teaching hours Monday – Thursday.
- 15 hours of complementary professional activities (e.g. Company visits)
- Accommodation (19 nights), double occupancy.
- Certificate of Participation and transcript
Without accommodation it will cost €1,520. Students receive a 10% discount for applications received before 15 May 2012.
Study Times: 2 July to 20 July

Programs offered through external organisations
A number of short term overseas study programs funded by external organisations are available.
AIM Overseas
Study areas: Arts, business, education, health, international relations, international and community development.
Costs: Contact Victoria Abroad for further details in regards to costs.
Study times: Programs run for three to four weeks and begin in the June and December holiday periods.
Application deadline: Apply any time.

ACICIS Program
The Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) hosts many overseas opportunities for semester programs ranging from field studies to practicum and teacher immersion.
Study areas: International studies, education, creative arts, teaching.
Costs: Tuition is A$2000. Cost vary but are outlined on the ACICIS program website. You will be expected to pay visa, airfares, insurance and living expenses.
Application Deadline: Semester 1 commencement deadline is 31 July. Semester 2 commencement deadline is 15 December.

Australia China Investment Corporation (ACIC)
Study areas: Education.
Costs: AGIC covers the cost of airfare, accommodation, visa, insurance and meals.
Study times: This program begins in February (ending in June) or September (ending in January).
Application deadline: Applications must be submitted at least 3 months prior to the start of the program.
