VU Housing Services provides VU students with a housing database where you can view current share houses, rooming houses and vacant property listings. To access the database, e-mail your student number to housing@vu.edu.au You can also discuss your accommodation options by making an appointment with a Student Welfare Officer on your campus.
Congratulations to Jarrod Gilchrist and Daniela di Toro who were named as Victoria University's male and female athletes of the year at the 2009 Sports Awards. The VU Sports Awards recognise the outstanding sporting achievements of VU students in regional, national and international championships.
New road rules came into effect on Monday 9 November, 2009. All staff and students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the new rules.

The City of Melbourne will be greeting all international students arriving at Melbourne Airport at a Welcome Desk from the 23 January until the 21 February. The Welcome Desk will run in addition to VU's airport reception service, which is available to first year international students by requesting airport reception.
If your family is would like an indication on what life is like for you at VU and services that are available, encourage them to come along to our information session.
As a new student, the first and most important step in becoming familiar with your campus is to come along to orientation.
