Test and Tag

Provides skills to work safely with and inspect electrical appliances. For those using the testing devices in inspections and testing and tagging portable electrical equipment. The content is covered using a hands-on approach and practical exercises.

What you will learn:

  • OH&S standards and Testing procedures - insulation resistance and earth continuity
  • Basic electrical theory understanding voltage values, surge arrestors, flexible cords and powerboards
  • The ability to identify common cable types and develop basic skills in testing and tagging using multimeters

There are no entry requirements.
