About this course

Designed to introduce business principles to licensed electrical tradespersons, this course is a must for those who are operating a business as an independent contractor. On completion you will be able to seek registration as an Electrical Contractor with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV).

What you will learn:

  • Applying business practices and process to meet technical regulations and standards of a contracting business
  • Skills for preparing market plans, estimating, profit margins, taxation, records, budgeting and project management.
  • Student Connecting Electrical Wires to Switch 

    Improve your business skills

  • Understanding legislative obligations relating to workplace safety, the environment, heritage sites, employment and human resources

There are no entry requirements.

Participants will be assisted in registering with ESV as part of the course.
