If you work in the electrotechnology area you will need Data cabling knowledge in electrical classification, S008 and S009 rules, data and telephony cabling installation techniques, dossiers and related mandatory documentation and inspections.

Victoria University has specialist training against national competencies for work in Data Cable Provider Rules areas and in Licence-endorsed Optic Fibre Cabling with National Broadband Rollout.

Entry requirements:

• Registered Electrical contractors, Licenced Electricians, Electrotechnology 4^th year completing electrical apprentices.
• Security/ Alarm trades person, CCTV trades, Energy and lighting management persons.
• Advanced Electrical Diploma
