Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media
With streams in Interactive Media and Games Development, we encourage students to try out new ideas and produce innovative and exciting projects. Our students have been recognised in the prestigious ATOM and AIMIA awards every year since 1999.

Financial and economical services

Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting
With the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, you are eligible for 'associate' status with CPA Australia in just one year (eight units).  VU is the only university in Australia which can offer this fast track course to professional accreditation.

With the Double Master Degrees, you can complete two years of postgraduate study in two internationally recognised and accredited business disciplines.

Health, environment and community services

Bachelor of Science (Specialisation)
VU has a new Science Specialisation degree tailored to suit your needs. You can specialise in biotechnology, chemistry or ecology and environmental management.

Certificate III in Community Services
The community services industry is currently experience a shortage of skilled employees. You may be eligible to study this course at no cost to you as part of the Australian government's Productivity Places Program (PPP).

Manufacturing and mechanical engineering

Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Streams in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or Civil)
This two year, full time course allows you to work as a qualified Technical Officer or Engineering Assistant. You will learn skills to solve practical and theoretical problems, and be able to supervise and train technical, trade and unskilled staff.

Advanced Diploma of Electrical - Technology
Set yourself up for a second trade qualification with the Advanced Diploma of Electrical - Technology from VU.

Covering 14 of the 20 competencies required for an Electrical Licence, it includes:

Tourism and hospitality

Advanced Diploma of Hospitality
VU offers this course in conjunction with the Sofitel in Melbourne's CBD. Delivered at Academy Sofitel the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management is a 12 month intensive, hands-on program. It has been designed to give graduates the skills and knowledge to move into a career at middle to department management level within a hotel, catering or food and beverage environment.
