Associate Director, Enterprise Services

Stewart’s exposure to computers early in life meant that he learnt core programming logic at the young age of 8. Despite his inherent skills for computers his ICT career didn’t follow a traditional path and didn’t formally commence until his early 20s.

In 1998 Stewart first started working at Victoria University in a junior IT role. Since then he has continued to develop his capabilities and influence the quality of IT services.

He was instrumental in the development of formal ICT security positions and was appointed ICT Security Manager.

In 2009 Stewart cemented his knowledge and skills with formal industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and many Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) certifications.

In 2011 Stewart was appointed Associate Director Enterprise Services. He manages the ICT network, data centre infrastructure, desktop and teaching space support throughout the University.
