Dr Leanne White

Senior Lecturer in Marketing
Dr White's doctoral thesis examined manifestations of official and commercial nationalism at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
She is the inaugural VU (formerly FIT) 'Student of the Year' and is the co-editor of Tourism and National Identities: An International Perspective, published by Routledge.
Dr White has written more than 25 book chapters and refereed journal articles.
She has worked in the university sector for 25 years, and has experience in communications and public relations in local government and higher education.
Dr White is a reviewer for several academic journals, and a member of professional associations in marketing, tourism and sport.
