Gayle Morris

Gayle joined Victoria University in April 2006. She came to the University with over 10 years of experience in higher education and industrial organisations with substantial experience as an active and successful applied researcher.

She previously held a research position at the Ian Wark Research Institute, University of South Australia, attracting over $4.2M of external funding. Through strong links, networks and secondment experience, her research has developed an industrial focus.

Her leadership and management has ensured successful research outcomes, translating to technology transfer and high quality, international publications. She has also previously held the position of Research Degree Coordinator.

She has presented papers at national and international forums, is an active member of numerous professional associations and publishes widely in a variety of disciplines. In seeking to enhance Victoria University's research environment, the Office for Research is a key player in implementing researcher development and support. This program will provide a major challenge for Gayle and the Office for Research team over the next few years.
