ICEPA Staff: Dr Finex Ndhlovu - Post Doctoral Research Fellow

Finex Ndhlovu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Community, Ethnicity and Policy Alternatives (ICEPA). He is working on the project 'The Intersections of English Language Testing for Citizenship and the Politics of Exclusion in Australia'. Finex holds a PhD from Monash University. His thesis was on nationalism, hegemony and the socio-politics of language marginalization in postcolonial Zimbabwe. He also holds a Master of Arts in African Languages and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts Honours both from the University of Zimbabwe; a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Zimbabwe Open University and a Certificate in Supervisory Management from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management.

Finex has close to 10 years of higher education teaching and research experience. He has held academic positions at Midlands State University (full time), Zimbabwe Open University (part time) and Monash University (sessional).
