Research Interests
Santina's research interests focus on cultural diversity in its various forms (such as gender, age, ethnicity and race) and how this interacts with social and economic relations at work, within the community and the broader economy. She has particularly focussed on the intersection of gender and ethnicity, through various studies on immigrant female workers, but has also researched more broadly in the area of employment relations, changes in industrial relations legislation, managing diversity, worker participation, high performance organisations, training and education, cultural diversity in the community, cultural diversity and the arts, social capital, unemployment, young workers, refugees and trade unions.
