World Refugee Day ICEPA Seminar
This seminar was held by ICEPA on Wednesday 20 June 2007 to mark the United Nations World Refugee Day and Refugee Week in Australia. Over 60 people from across Victoria attended, including representatives from communities and a wide range of organisations such as NGOs and local and state government departments. Participants were engaged in a lively discussion that discussed:
- the needs of refugee communities
- refugee settlement experiences
- policy considerations on refugees in Australia.
This event also featured the launch of the ICEPA report: The Relocation of Refugees from Melbourne to Regional Victoria: A Comparative Evaluation in Swan Hill and Warrnambool.
