What is Orientation?

Orientation provides you with essential information about living in Melbourne and studying at Victoria University. The orientation program will give you a great start to university life and is compulsory for all students.

During orientation you will

• meet fellow classmates and other international students
• meet staff from International Student Support, your school and faculty
• discover information about services and facilities at Victoria University and in the local community, including:
  • support services
  • legal services
  • emergency services
  • health services
  • complaints and appeal processes
  • student visa conditions
