Organise childcare

Victoria University operates four Children's Centres that provide care and education programs for children aged three months to six years.

Services offer care on a full-time, part-time and sessional basis, to meet the needs of the University community. Childcare staff have a range of training and experience in the care and education of children.

Children's Centre programs aim to integrate care and education that brings together long day care, part time care and sessional care. This approach ensures our services are able to respond to the needs of children and families.

The four Children's Centres offer an integrated, State Government-funded preschool program for children of kindergarten age.

A cook is employed at each Centre to prepare and provide nutritional meals including morning and afternoon tea. Most special dietary requirements are catered for and we welcome parent consultation when preparing menus.
