FOUNDATIONS IN COUNSELLING

Foundations in Counselling is a part-time program involving one afternoon and evening per week, offered by the Department of Community Services at Victoria University. Classes are delivered at the King Street, City Campus.

Foundations in Counselling is a person-centered, experiential program providing nationally accredited, competency-based training in:

skills development
counselling theory
group work
personal/professional awareness.

For those with an interest in counselling and for those already working in Human Services and wanting to improve their counselling skills eg: Teachers, Allied Health Workers, Employee Support Staff, Managers, etc.
