The Industry Skills Training Centre is a $20 million purpose-built complex that includes:
- large indoor and outdoor work areas and modern classrooms
- a 1.2 km road circuit and large manoeuvring area for driver training
- over 80 items of plant equipment including trucks, cars, fork lifts, cranes and earthmoving equipment which are used in training programs
- a three-year cyclical time frame of replacing the plant and equipment, and
- a library, canteen and student-amenity area.
Industry Skills offers the following specialised services:
- Courses designed, developed customised for Industry needs
- VicRoads and Worksafe licence testing
- Refresher training available.
Where are we?
Industry Skills Training Centre is 15 minutes drive from the Westgate Bridge and 10 minutes walk from Hoppers Crossing Station. the Centre is located at Gate 4, Hoppers Lane, Werribee (Melway Ref: 206 J6) - drive past gates 1-3 then look on your left for the forklift stuck on a pedestal.
