To legally operate most earthmoving machinery without supervision, you must complete this Certificate of Competency in order to get a National Plant and Equipment (NPE) licence/ticket.
Competency VBQU205 Operate earthmoving Equipment Safely (specialising in Excavator)

Provides basic training in the safe operation of the different types of Excavators used in industry and includes assessment and issue of NPE card (cost included in course fee).
AM I ELIGIBLE?
You must be at least 18. Ability to drive a car would be an advantage.

HOW LONG'S THE COURSE?
Full-time: 8am - 4pm, five days.

Industry Skills Training, Gate 4 Hoppers Lane, Werribee.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
$254.40 per person (includes Tuition and Materials Fees).
PLEASE NOTE
You must:
- bring four passport photos to the first training session
- attend all scheduled training sessions at all scheduled times, otherwise entry to the training course may be refused
- wear safety boots during training
- provide own writing materials including blue/black pen and paper.
