The School of Biomedical and Health Sciences aims both to enhance post-secondary educational opportunities and to expand vocational opportunities, particularly for those who live and work in the western metropolitan region.
This will be achieved by progressively offering a range of courses designed to facilitate the access of students to educational programs which are professionally and educationally oriented.

The School also operates two Teaching Clinics that offer services to staff, students and the general public, while giving students practical experience. The Health Sciences Teaching Clinics are located at the City Flinders and St Albans campuses.
