The School of Electrical Engineering is located on the Footscray Park Campus of the University. It is responsible for one of the oldest course areas of the university, Electrical Engineering and has been taught at the university since the very early days and many of the graduates of its courses have held senior positions in industry, government and the community.
The school currently offers a range of undergarduate courses and postgraduate study in the disciplines of computer engineering and technology, electrical and electronic engineering, microelectronic systems, photonics and telecommunications engineering. Each course aims to provide a balance between intellectual endeavour and workplace relevance, while giving students a stimulating, challenging, enjoyable and fulfilling educational experience.
