The School of Architectural, Civil and Mechanical Engineering offers undergraduate
and postgraduate programs in a range of engineering disciplines.
Specialisations include: architectural, building, civil, and mechanical engineering.
As we progress into the new millennium, the School is evolving to meet the challenges
that confront Australia and the world. Our prosperity in engineering as a University and
as a society will increasingly depend on the way we understand and use the resources
available to us.
Academics in the School provide a portfolio of research and teaching experience that
spans both industry and academia throughout Europe, America and Asia. Their work
is a major contributor to the University's research reputation in the field of engineering
at both national and international levels.
The School is recognised for its innovative applications of engineering theory in the
areas of structural and environmental dynamics, packaging and distribution,
computational fluid dynamics & mechanics, and hydrology and sustainable engineering.
The work of both staff and students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels has
been recognised across the globe through citations and international prizes awarded
by worldwide bodies.
