Entry paths for undergraduate courses
The three entry paths into courses (subject to quotas) are:

Successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education or equivalent, including the work requirements of English units 3 and 4, and Mathematical Methods units 3 and 4. Late applications for undergraduate study in the following year close in approximately mid November of the current year. Prospective students should refer to the VTAC Guide for specific closing dates.

Articulation from Associate Diploma or Diploma courses in Building Surveying and Engineering. Credit will be given to subjects passed to a sufficient level of competence.
- Applications may also be made under the University's alternative categories of entry, including continuing difficulties during schooling, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders or mature age (over 21 years of age).
