Discrimination (unfavourable treatment based on gender, race, age, ability etc)
The Equal Opportunity Act 1995 (VIC) simply stated says that it is illegal for any accommodation (goods and services) provider (eg; Real Estate Agent, Private Landlord etc) to act in a way that favours (actual and perceived) one individual or group over another.
Exceptions include accommodation unsuitable for children, educational and welfare facilities and shared housing.
Discrimination may be illegal. Discrimination is also very stressful. If you feel that you have been discriminated against
Write as much detail as you can of what happened (date, time, venue name, who said what)
