FAQ's
What happens after I apply for a scholarship?
After the closing date, we assess all the locked applications and supporting documents. All applications are ranked, and we begin allocating and offering the most valuable scholarships first. Offer letters are mailed to the student address recorded on MYVU Portal. You must reply to the offer letter by the specified date or the scholarship will be reallocated to another student. Once all scholarships are allocated, we send an email to all unsuccessful applicants.
Can I ring or email and ask how my application is going?
Sorry, we are busy trying to make offers as early as possible. Each call or email slows that process down.
Why is there a box saying 'Termination' next to My Application?
That is an 'office use only' box for our use when any scholarship you are awarded has expired. These boxes are only updated after we've allocated and made payments to scholarship holders.
