Free Legal sessions for VU students will be held every Thursday, 12.00 to 1.00 pm at the Footscray Community Legal Centre.
You can ask a range of legal questions such as credit and debt problems, public transport and traffic fines, fare evasion, insurance, car accidents, victims of crime compensation, mobile phone internet contracts. This service excludes immigration issues. You can get advice on the spot from a solicitor from Footscray Community Legal Centre.
If the matter is more complex, then a follow up appointment will be made with the Legal Centre.
