Victoria University was founded in 1916 as Footscray Technical School and established as Victoria University in 1990. Currently there are more than 45,000 enrolled students, including over 8500 international students and over 4600 postgraduate students.
Victoria Universisty has three Higher Education Faculties and two Vocational Education Faculties
- Faculty of Health, Engineering and Science
- Faculty of Arts, Education and Human Development
- Faculty of Business and Law
- Faculty of Workforce Development
- Faculty of Technical trade and Innovation
And VU College, which ensures the successful transition of students into, through and beyond Victoria University. Through the Faculties, 746 courses are offered at eleven campuses and sites.
