The VU Alumni Community is now an international community with chapters supporting alumni in many countries throughout the world. If you are thinking of a career overseas, globally your alumni network is an invaluable source. Apart from alumni in Hong Kong and Malaysia, VU has graduates in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, India, China, USA, Italy and throughout Australia.
What are the benefits?

Our membership base includes both TAFE and higher education students, graduates, current and former staff members, friends of the University and extends across all courses.
How do I know if I am an alumnus of Victoria University?
Victoria University is an amalgamation of several predecessor institutions dating back to 1916. You are considered an alumnus of Victoria University if you were a graduate, student, teacher or administrative staff member of the following institutions that make-up what is now known as Victoria University:
- Victoria University of Technology
- Western Melbourne Institute of TAFE
- Western Institute
- Footscray Institute of Technology
- Gellibrand College of TAFE
- Western Metropolitan College of TAFE
- Footscray College of TAFE
- Newport College of TAFE
- Flagstaff College of TAFE
- Footscray Technical College
- Footscray Technical School
The Alumni Relations Program brings together all active alumni. To take full advantage of VU's alumni community, consider financial membership.
Free membership is available, but doesn't include the same range of benefits as financial members. All members receive Your VU: e-News for the VU Alumni Community which features upcoming events in the alumni community and keeps you in touch with what's happening at VU.
