The Short Course Centre of Victoria University offers a wide variety of short courses to the general public as well as to business and industry. Comprising some 11 campuses across Melbourne, including three in the Melbourne CBD, our customised state of the art facilities, combined with industry leading facilitators mean that a Victoria University Short Course is one that will help you to:

The Victoria Police has strict entry requirements. Please ensure prior to enrolling in either the preparation course or exam, that you investigate your eligibility. Download the summary PDF below for more information or call the Victoria Police career centre on 13 20 01 or visit the Victoria Police web site at www.police.vic.gov.au. Please do not contact the University in regards to your exam results. These will be forwarded to you by Vetassess approximately 14 working days after the exam.

**Please Note: If you have never completed Make-Up before it is recommended you start with Make-Up Basics first which is the core unit and then undertaking the Bridal Make-Up Course. In addition to the course fee, participants are required to purchase their own make up kit. Additional cost per student of make-up products / kit ranges approximately $450, includes brushes and manual required on Week 1. Short Course Brochure

The Short Course Guide is distributed twice yearly in January (Semester 1) and July (Semester 2) and can be obtained from the Short Courses Centre at (03) 9919 7920.

Payment

Payment for Short Courses can be made by credit card by either telephone/fax, or in person at The Short Course Centre at 225 King Street Melbourne or a Student Service Centre. (Note: There is no Student Service Centre at the Queen Campus. You will need to complete an enrolment form for the courses you wish to enrol in. Payment in full must accompany the enrolment form at least 10 days prior to course commencement.

The Short Course Centre does not issue invoices. Anyone 15 years or older is eligible to participate in a Short Course. There are no pre requisites unless specified. To avoid disappointment, please enrol without delay as courses fill quickly. The Short Course Centre reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course if insufficent numbers occur.

There are no concessions available with any Short Courses.

A confirmation letter along with a Tax Invoice will be sent to you within 7 days of registration once payment has been received. We accept the following credit cards. Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa. We are unable to accept AMEX or Diners Club Cards. Please make all cheques or money orders payable to Victoria Univesity. For our terms and conditions, including our refunds, transfers and cancellation policy, please see our short course enrolment form attached to our Short Course Guide. which can be downloaded from this page.

Victoria University Short Course Centre invites suitably qualified and experienced teachers and trainers who may be interested in delivering short courses to download an PDF Expression of Interest Form.pdf (67KB) . The minimum qualification required to deliver Short Courses is a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. If you have new or interesting ideas for a short course not currently offered, please send in the first instance a written proposal to The Manager, Short Course Centre Victoria University PO BOX 14428, Melbourne City Vic 8001.
