The official opening of the Fabrication Workshop at Victoria University's refurbished Whitten Building at Sunshine Campus with attendance of Minister of Education, Julia Gillard.

The building houses VU's Fabrication Workshop where students learn the latest techniques in manufacturing, including: Virtual Reality 3D Design; Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing; Digital Scanning - Reverse Engineering; and Computer Integrated Assembly - Mechatronics.

For safety reasons closed shoes must be worn at the event
