"I originally started at Victoria University as a student, but now I'm a lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law. I've taught most subjects in accounting and finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate level."
My biggest achievement so far is being a finalist in the 2004 Australian Awards for University Teaching. VU gave me my education and my career, and without those two things I wouldn't have been able to achieve the things I have.
I've found Victoria University truly values the diversity of its students and it provides for their specific needs. Many students there are like myself - from migrant families, not born in to wealth, but have a great willingness to learn.
The University tries to provide equal access to a quality education, one that hopefully inspires and motivates students to achieve their academic potential. VU's inclusive support structures make it possible."
