"The courses I completed at VU have given me the edge required to work at Ford Motor Company of Australia Ltd (Ford), a competitive and continuously growing manufacturing company. I am now working as an IT Windows Server Infrastructure Analyst, a role I wouldn't be able to fulfill without the hands on technical skills I gained through my TAFE studies and the business and IT knowledge I acquired through my degree.
Working for Ford, you require skills within and outside your chosen profession. VU offers this through its extensive range of courses and subjects.
Looking back over the years as a student at VU, I think my fondest memory would be of an environment which encouraged learning. It was an enjoyable place to study and I would highly recommend VU to anyone who is considering further education.
The students at VU are friendly, realistic and motivated towards succeeding in their studies. VU has a wonderful culture, one that promotes achievement and commitment to its students. Lecturers are also very approachable and always willing to spend time with you when it is required. I believe this is the key to a successful association between a University and its students.
To describe Victoria University in one word, I would say: Dedicated."
